tangled emptiness
bleak limbs carry winter’s weight
greenness waits within

winter emptiness
branches holding up the sky
a holy stillness
*****
barren majesty
tall, deep-rooted, wide-spread arms
winter elegance

Hi Carol, Hope you are well. I love the barren trees in winter. They
have their own beauty.
Peace and Grace, Fran

Hi Fran, so nice to hear from you, and happy to know of your love for these beautiful barren trees! I think we have seen them more these past few winters with so little snow! Doing “okay” here. Always wish for full healing, but there is sufficient strength for each day, and grateful for that! Hope you are well. Would enjoy seeing you again sometime!

Hello Judy, so nice to hear from you. Winter trees fascinate me and lead me to ponder some of the mysteries of life and birth and death and resurrection.
We’re doing “okay” here and hope all is well with you there.
